It is only one month into the New Year and I’ve already been so busy that I can barely keep up with myself. One of my personal resolutions for 2015 is to really make more time to utilize my creative outlets – especially writing – no matter how busy I am. Writing is how I am able to keep personal log of my gigs and, more importantly, how I am able to share with you all of the exciting fashion and film projects that I will be working on. So, with that being said I will be posting more frequently within this diary (YAY).
Since fashion week is almost upon us (crazy I know), I have been really buckling down on my fitness routine and my diet to make sure that I am fully prepared for the castings that come my way. With preparation for both modeling and my fashion blog, I am completely drained. But, that will not stop me! There is always coffee, right?! BRING IT ON FEBRUARY!!
Here is a little glimpse of what I have been working on so far this year:
At the beginning of this month I starred in a music video entitled “Appollonia”. The team I worked with was amazing. They are not only all creative and talented but they make working feel like it’s not work at all. It was a true pleasure working with them. Once the video is live, I will be sure to share it! #Staytuned
On Martin Luther King Day, while everyone was off celebrating King’s legacy, I was reporting to set on only three hours of sleep – but it was absolutely worth it. I modeled for a brand named All Nutrient: An earth-friendly hair product company. With the combination of an amazingly creative hair team and a talented photographer, magic was made! I cannot wait to see the final images! Here are two looks from the shoot:
I was happy to add another magazine tear sheet to my portfolio this month. What an amazing way to kick-off the New Year! Bella NYC Magazine’s Hollywood issue is on stands everywhere now and you can find me within it’s pages- how exciting. The page in entitled “Celebrity Street Style” and I am rocking a look inspired by the famous Kylie Jenner. Without the help of my amazing MUA Chris Lanston, stylist Marcus Stewart and the whole Bella team, this transformation would have not been possible!
Now that I gave you a little peek into my month, it’s time for me to get to my castings!
